Whitehouse Fire Co. 5th Annual Holiday Craft Show November 13^th & 14^th, 2004

Whitehouse Station, November 13^th & 14^th, 2004: Whitehouse Fire Co. #1, Inc. will host their Fifth Annual Holiday Craft Show and Exhibition fundraiser. The show will be held at the Firehouse at 271 Main Street in Whitehouse Station. Forty Nine talented artists will be featured, showing fine quality merchandise such as hand crafted furniture, jewelry, floral items, stained glass, clothing, doll clothes, fine art, linens, quilts, wooden decoys and toys. Decorative hand painting can be found on almost anything including furniture, glass, tin, and all kinds of wood. All work displayed in the show is designed and handcrafted by the exhibiting artist. Some local Artists exhibiting include: Josephine Knobloch and Karen Marchese of Flemington, decorative folk art painting on Holiday and Gift Items; Inez B. Kline, award winning artist of Belvidere, original hand paintings on canvas, and all kinds of wooden items; and Joe Sebes of Califon original hand rendered house portraits.

The Craft Show runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both days, rain or shine. Admission is a $2.00 donation with children under 12 free. Refreshments will be sold throughout the event. Local businesses that will be helping out with the refreshments are Bishop’s Thriftway Supermarket, Bagel Junction, The Whitehouse Cake Box and Readington Farms. Firemen’s families will be baking up all sorts of goodies for the bake sale.

Local area businesses have been very generous and have supplied a very nice variety of wonderful items to be included in our Penny Auction. Gifts donated include everything from a bicycle donated by Garden State Bike, Dog grooming by Canine Designs, Vet Services at Whitehouse Veterinary Hospital, a floral arrangement by Whitehouse Gardens New Leaf Florist, Jewelry from Tall Cedars Jewelers, canvas transfer from Remember When Art Gallery, hats and flags from Darrow’s Sporting Edge, to Gift Certificates from La Casa Bianca, Spiotta’s and What’s Cookin’, and lots more wonderful items.
